It's Raining - Now What?

Our goal it to play ball and our fields are ready for it. Rain in the morning or even afternoon does not mean that games are cancelled. Our fields have been there a LONG time (over 60 years) and as such, they drain very well. When it rains we closely monitor the weather and our board members will perform pre-game field inspections for playability.

Games will be canceled to ensure safety of all participants and to make sure the fields are kept in playing condition throughout the year.

It is important to understand the best way to find updates on game and field status due to weather. Updates will be made available through three platforms:
1) Our voice mail line, AKA "Rain Out Hotline", at 925-472-8940
2) Our website (you're already here)
3) Our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ConcordAmericanLittleLeague

On days where it's rained, we try  and update all three places by 3 PM on weeknights and 7:30 AM on the weekends. If rain starts during the day on Saturday, we'll update again as needed. If it begins to rain during games, the umpires and board member(s) on site will make the final decision on continuing, pausing, or suspending play.

Please be respectful of our board member's willingness to give our contact information. We provide our phone numbers so you can reach us as needed for assistance within their respective role, but they are NOT the rain out hotline and you will not receive any advance info by texting board members (they're probably already on the phone coordinating decisions due to the weather)

We have an agreement with the Rain Gods, and when at all possible, it does not rain during baseball games!
